Logos International School (LIS) was born in 2016 as an offshoot of TransIndia Ministries (TIM). Dr Xavier Lakshmanan and Mrs Nissy Xavier were the visionaries of the project. Mr and Mrs Ross Bunnyan along with Dr Leonard Smith and Mrs Merilyn Smith supported the project.
The first cohort of 7 students and 4 staff commenced their journey of learning and teaching in June 2016 in a rental facility. The community at Chenayi surrounded us with immense support, encouragement, and love. Every year, the student-body multiplied to a point that we could not contain in the rental building. Temporary sheds were made on top of the rental property to add more classrooms.
In the subsequent years, School began to grow to be where we are and what we are today: more students, advanced facilities, more staffing, transportations, and 3.5 acres of beautiful land. The first two stages of the construction in the land are complete and we moved to the brand-new facility in June 2023. Currently, the final stage of the construction is well underway. Transition from the rental facility to our own facility in the land that God provided for the school marked a historical significance.
